Here come the Holidays
Here we go again – we are coming up to the holidays. What kind of shopper are you?
THE OVER ACHIEVER – The one who has waited all year for this? You have a list of everyone you want to get gifts for and you are already half done.
THE PLANNER - The one who gets excited right after Halloween and bursts into action, only to immediately feel like you are behind?
THE ONE HIT WONDER - The one who hits Black Friday hard with the list and the deals and takes it out in one shot?
THE UNDECIDED - The one who starts thinking about it around black Friday and works to decide what you are going to do this year?
THE PROCRASTINATOR - The one who runs out the last week or days before Christmas, paying for RUSH shipping everywhere to handle it?
Maybe, like me, you are a different shopper each year.
Well no matter who you are – here it comes – THE HOLIDAYS.
It’s been a weird year and probably the ‘norm” doesn’t seem like it fits.
Are you deciding what to do this year? Go Simple or make the extra effort to make sure everyone feels loved?
While you are working out your strategic attack on the end of the year, let’s warm up with the October Holidays.
There are over 150 holidays in October alone – including food, animal, cultural, Cause, Fun, Health, Sports, Career Awareness days.
You can check them all out at this link: https://nationaltoday.com/october-holidays/
I went through and picked out a few that I thought were fun and listed them below.

2 October – World Smile Day.
6 October – World Teacher’s Day
12 October – Columbus Day or Indigenous People Day

I am going to work to celebrate each one – especially the National No-Bra Day and National Grouch Day. All joking aside, let’s warm up with October. Pick some things to celebrate this month. Maybe it’s someone’s birthday or an anniversary. Or maybe you want to make someone laugh on Slap Your Annoying Coworker Day or give treats for Halloween.
Next week we will start getting organized for the Holidays in celebration of National Checklist Day.
